Man found with head injuries dies in hospital

Police were called to Clarence Place

A man who was found with serious injuries in Gravesend last Monday has now died in hospital.

Emergency crews including the air ambulance were called to Clarence Place.

He was airlifted to King's College Hospital in London with a serious head injury.

Two men arrested on suspicion of assault have been released but remain under investigation.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "A man found seriously injured outside a property in Clarence Place, Gravesend, following a report at 7.32am on Monday 3 July 2017, has died.

"Inquiries are ongoing to establish how the man came to be injured."
