High winds have caused travel chaos for motorists across Kent today.
More Charges Over Cash Van Raid
Two more men have been charged in connection with a robbery on a cash security van in Strood
Michael Robert McCluskey, aged 25 of Abbey Wood, London, and a 17 year old boy from Erith were arrested yesterday in connection with the raid which took place at a petrol station on Cuxton Road on Wednesday 19th Setember
Another man, 25 year old George Brockett,from Mangold Way, Erith appeared in court on Monday, accused of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Police say more than £50,000 was stolen during the raid when a group of thieves in balaclavas targeted the van just before midday.
Specialist firearms officers were called in after reports a weapon had been seen, and the police helicopter was also sent out to search for the suspects.
McCluskey and the 17 year old appeared at Dartford magistrates on Wednesday. They and Brockett are remanded in custody until Monday October 1st when they will appear at Maidstone Crown Court
