A Latvian man was remanded in custody today when he appeared in court charged with the murder of his wife, according to police.
Edite Titane, 22, was found dead at a property in Cecil Road, Rochester, Kent, by police. She had been strangled.
Agris Titans, 24, of Cecil Road, was charged on Friday 5th August with the murder of his wife, Edite Titane, 22, also of Cecil Road between July 31 and August 1.
He appeared before Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, August 9
Kent Police said previously that a post-mortem examination revealed Mrs Titane died from asphyxiation following compression of the neck.
Mrs Titane had moved to the Medway area of Kent in April to be close to her family.
