Tributes Paid to Drowned Angler
A teenage fisherman found drowned in a lake at Sutton-At-Hone near Dartford has been named on social media as Jack Morrison.
One of his friends has tweeted: "Jack was in a place he absolutely loved and doing a sport he loved".
The Facebook site Every Day Angler posted: "So sad and horrible to hear that a fellow angler has lost his life doing what we all love."
On Saturday evening, Kent Police issued the following statement:
"Kent Police and other emergency services searching a lake at Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford have recovered a body from the water.
Next of kin have been informed and the body has been formally identified as the 16-year-old boy reported missing in the area yesterday.
The death is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being prepared for the Coroner."
Meanwhile a 16-year-old boy who had been missing from his home in Tunbridge Wells since Friday afternoon has turned up safe and well. Police have thanked the public for their help in looking for Georgio Payne.
