A man who was found guilty of murdering two people in Canterbury has been jailed for a minimum of 30 years.
Sheerness: Hit-And-Run Arrest
A motorist, 55, has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of dangerous driving following a suspected hit-and-run in Sheerness.
Police appealed for information following a collision in the town at 7.04pm on Wednesday 13 July when officers were called to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a man in St Helen’s Road, Sheerness.
The victim, a man in his forties, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The vehicle, described as a 4x4, failed to to stop following the collision.
Following the appeal a 55-year-old man from Sheerness was arrested on Sunday 17 July on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop. He has been bailed until Friday 14 October while officers continue their enquiries.
