Missing Prisoner Found

A prisoner who went missing from the Isle of Sheppey has been found in Surrey

Paul Edwards, 28, from Addlestone was found in Surrey at 4.50pm yesterday.

Edwards left Stanford Hill prison at some point between midday and 6pm on Thursday 6th May.

He was convicted for a number of theft and burglary offences in Runnymede.

Yesterday, Surrey Police were called to Garfield Road in Addlestone by a member of the public who reported a man acting suspiciously.  He's now been returned to prison.

Police want to thank the public for their help in the matter.
