Teenagers On Chatham Drug Charges

Two teenagers have been remanded into the care of Kent County Council after being arrested for alleged drug offences in Medway.

Officers seized £3,000 cash and more than 200 packets which they believed to contain heroin and cocaine during a raid in Longhill Avenue, Chatham, on Thursday 15 September.

A 17-year-old from Kings Lynn, Norfolk, has been charged with two counts of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

The other suspect, also aged 17 and of no fixed address, was charged with one count of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possessing a knife.

Both have been remanded into local authority care to appear in court at a future date.
