I know a lot of people have proper ambitions, but as a kid I just wanted to be a DJ..! True..!  One day, when I was 6, I was off school pretending to be sick and spent hours with my cassette machine, playing songs and then talking to myself in between them.  Now I do exactly the same thing, except I'm not wearing my dressing gown when I do it… And hopefully I'm not talking to myself..!

Doing Drivetime is not a real job - don't tell my boss, I love doing the show!  Playing some truly great tunes is fun in itself, but one of the great things is the people who are on the show. Everyday, I speak to callers who are brilliant.  If I've spoken to you, thank you for calling and, if you've not been on yet, I look forward to talking to you soon too..!

So, at the end of the workday, I hope you enjoy the show… Unwind at the end of the day and leave the work to me..!
