Claire Lawson is the voice of weekends. We asked her to tell us a little about herself..

I've always loved listening to the radio for as long as I can remember. I used to record the chart on Sundays without fail and often have pretend radio shows with my friends in my bedroom - I think I've improved a little since then!

I'm originally from the North East of England. Radio has been my life for the last seven years, starting off as the travel presenter at Century FM in Newcastle, then the overnight presenter at TFM in Middlesbrough and then I made my big move to Kent!

If I'm not in the studio you'll probably find me either shopping in Bluewater or partying with the Gills players in Strawberry Moons in Maidstone on a saturday night! Well you only live once - enjoy it while you're here I say! That's not how the boss sees it when I turn up with one of my legendary hangovers though!
