Ssshhhhh... Can you hear that?
Scientists are completely baffled by an irritating low-droning noise, which only 1 in 50 people can hear.
The noise has been heard all around the world, but no one knows why some can hear it, and others can’t - or even what the cause of the noise is! All we have are reports that it sounds like a low hum.
Our very own Charlie O'Brien hears it when she leaves the house (James thinks it's the sound of the world moving) so they decided to do a little experiment to see who can hear it.
