If you or someone you now is thinking about going into the sixth form, college or work based learning, then go to kentchoices4u.com. 

The website helps young people to decide what to do after year 11. You can use it to research courses and learning options offered by local schools, colleges, training providers plus there's also information on work and apprenticeships. Once you've chosen where you want to study, then you should use the website to apply online. This includes applying to the sixth form at your current school, FE colleges or training providers.

By the end of December 2011 there have already been more than 72,000 hits to the site, 11,000 people have created accounts in the system and 6,000 have made an application.

Before sending off any applications, it's a good idea to use kentchoices4u.com and talk about plans with either parents/carers, a Connexions Personal Adviser or teachers at your school.
