Each week Heart brings you the finest selection of what our favourite beauty bloggers have been writing about.
This week Kenneth Soh has been exploring the difference between doing make-up for black and white shoots versus colour shoots. He says: "If you research the history of film, makeup was orginally designed for B&W film and as a result came about the concept of contouring and highlighting." He demonstrates the difference on his blog Musings Of A Make-Up Artist.
Blogger Lily Pebbles shows readers what she took on her recent trip to Paris on her website whatihearttoday.com. She says: "Whilst in Paris I thought I'd take a quick snap of what was in my makeup bag to show you what I took with me for my short weekend trip. Now I know this is pretty extreme for a 3 day trip, but packing was a last minute thing so I just grabbed all of my favourites and something appropriate for any situation!"
Make-up artist Tanya Burr shows how to create a very festive smokey eye with a twist in her latest video tutorial. She opts for a dark teal and cranberry shades to create a winter look. Check out her video, below.
Finally, Louise from Get Lippy test out the best berry shades for winter. She says: "In the winter, for it is now very definitely winter, a girls' fancy very much turns to darker shades. Whilst I'm yet to put away my reds, pinks and coral (and, if truth be told, it's unlikely I will), I've been very much fancying juicy plummy andberry shades for my lips this last week."
