Royal honeymoon revealed?

According to reports, William and Kate will spend their Royal honeymoon on the island of Corfu.

The Greek island is best known for budget holidays and clubbing mecca Kavos, but if reports are to be believed, Royalty could soon be stepping onto its shores.

The Daily Star has reported that palace officials have urged the newlyweds not to embark on an overly exotic and expensive trip while Brits see their living standards squeezed back home.

A wedding source revealed: “While many people think of Corfu Town as a place for stereotyped Brits abroad, it also oozes elegance and culture. Prince William and Kate have hired a private villa in Corfu with a secluded, private beach. Their plan is to be as unnoticed as possible. William has requested a local boatsman be on standby during their break so they can sail around the island on a fishing tour. The newlyweds also plan to go swimming and snorkelling to check out local marine life of the Ionian Sea and visit the Old Town.”

Apparently local villagers have also been briefed about the arrival of the couple and a security team are being lined up in the run-up to the April 29 wedding ceremony.

Whether or not this 'wedding source' is concrete or not, time will tell...
