Ratty, Badger, Mole and Toad return in a brand new show from the creator of Downton Abbey.
Kenneth Grahame's wild tale about the thrill-seeking, lovable menace Mr Toad comes to life in a brand new stage musical starring Rufus Hound with a book by Oscar-winning screenwriter and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes and Olivier Award-winning composer and lyricist George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
The Wind in the Willows is a riotous comedy which follows the impulsive Mr Toad whose insatiable need for speed lands him in serious trouble. With his beloved home under threat from the notorious Chief Weasel and his gang of sinister Wild Wooders, Toad must attempt a daring escape leading to a series of misadventures and a heroic battle to recapture Toad Hall.
The Wind in the Wilows stars comedian Rufus Hound as Mr Toad; Denise Welch as Mrs Otter & Barge Woman; Gary Wilmot as Badger and Neil McDermott (EastEnders) as Chief Weasel.
Featuring eye-poppingly beautiful design, exuberant choreography and a gloriously British score, The Wind in the Willows brings an explosion of anarchy, comedy and heart to the world-famous London Palladium from June.
