13 Year Old Charged With Roehampton Murder

Police have charged a 13-year-old boy with the murder of a man who died during a break-in in South West London.

He is believed to be one of the youngest ever in Britain to be charged with murder.

Martin Thomas, 39, died from stab wounds at his home in Roehampton on 22 April 2014.

A fifteen year-old has already been charged with murder, and a 16 and 17-year-old have been released on bail.

The teenager was due to appear before magistrates in Wimbledon on Bank Holiday Monday 5 May 2014.
