Bus Crash: Woman Driver Dies

A woman driver's died after a crash involving her car and a single-decker bus in south east London.

Police were called to Homestead Way in New Addington just after midnight on Sunday 3 August 2014 following a collision involving a Hyundai car and a single-decker bus.

The driver of the car, a woman aged 39, was left seriously injured and was pronounced dead at the scene an hour later.

Police say the bus was in service at the time, with a small number of passengers on board, but neither they nor the driver required treatment from the London Ambulance Service.

Specialist officers from the Met Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading enquiries into the crash.
