Woman Dies In House Fire

A woman has died after a fire in a house in Upper Norwood.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found the woman’s body on the ground floor of the semi-detached house on Saturday 16 May 2015.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the London Ambulance Service. 

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers attended the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the Metropolitan Police are treating the fire as non-suspicious.
