A multimillion pound terrace house in Kensington has been gutted by a large fire.

It started at 6am in Campden Grove, and took 70 firefighters three hours to bring under control.

A woman and her daughter had to be led to safety by fire crews, but no-one was hurt, as the flat was empty at the time due to refurbishment.

An investigation has now started into the cause. It is thought a gas main could be involved.
