Homophobic bus ads banned

Bus ads suggesting gay people could be cured have been pulled by the Mayor but only at the last minute.

The ads were supposed to appear on buses across London on Monday but Boris says they're homophobic and can't run.

The campaign by Christian group Core Issues Trust was due to run for two weeks.

It used a slogan that seemed to parody pro-gay organisation Stonewall's recent motto - "Some people are gay. Get over it!"
