Katie Price Allowed To Sue Former Friend

A High Court judge has decided Katie Price can sue her former friend, who she says tried to sell a story about her.

The former model has brought an action against former manager Claire Powell, CAN Associates Ltd, ex-husband Peter Andre and Jamelah Asmar, who she met when they were both young models.

Ms Asmelah became estranged from Katie following her divorce from Peter Andre.

Ms Asmelah asked the judge to throw out the against her,  on the basis that Katie had herself published so much material and information about her own private life that any expectation of privacy s overridden.

But today, the judge dismissed her application to halt the proceedings.
