Legal action for St Paul's protesters

The case to evict protesters camped outside St Paul's Cathedral will be heard in the High Court on Wednesday

City of London Corporation officials confirmed the details - after the protesters missed Thursday night's deadline to move.

Campaigners have now taken over an empty bank building close by to their Finsbury Square Camp,  belonging to UBS. They intend to use it this weekend, to facilitate a national convention of protesters sympathetic to their cause.

Meanwhile a planned carol concert by drama students due to take place at St Paul's Cathedral itself has been cancelled.

The Principle of the Italia Conti Academy; Anne Sheward's told London's Heart they were left with no other option becuase of health and safety concerns over the campaigners outside.
