London cable car opens to public

The new Thames cable car linking the 02 Arena and the ExCel Centre - is now open.

The Emirates Air Line will carry 2,500 people an hour, TfL says a single cash fare will be £4.30 - with cheaper fares for Oyster Card users.

The cable car will transport users from the O2 in Greenwich to the ExCel Arena in London's Docklands.
