London deals with UK strike

Millions of children are off school as the biggest strike in 30 years gets underway.

Teachers, nurses, dinner ladies, bin men and social workers just some of the 2m people walking out in the ongoing row over pensions.

At London's airports military staff are standing in for passport inspectors.

London Ambulance Service says only dial 999 in an emergency. The police also saying their call centres could also be affected.

The row centres around changes to pensions.

The government says people are getting older so it's right to get them working longer to pay for their pensions.

The unions say working longer for what they say will be less cash isn't fair.
