London Fire Brigade has dealt with 32 flood related calls in one day.

That's more than double the number of flood related calls they would usually expect in one day.

Crews are on flood alert after the Met Office issued a severe weather warning for the capital.

In some areas, the average rainfall for the whole of June fell in around 12 hours, with more thundery downpours forecast into this evening.

In most cases, crews have been dealing with flooded electricity pump rooms where there is a danger of fire.
