The London Olympics were the most sustainable games ever - with transport, waste management and food singled out for praise.
That's according to a watchdog, which has praised the games' 70 per cent recycling target and zero waste to landfill.
But the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012 has criticised organisers for not allowing spectators to take their own food in to the big screen sites.
It says London 2012 should be used as a blueprint for future events like the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
