Lonely Planet guide upsets Londoners

"Over priced or lacking in quality" that's how the latest Lonely Planet travel guide to the UK has summed up some parts of where we live.

It says Notting Hill and surrounding areas are 'as shabby as they are chic' and Surrey is "made up of uninspiring towns and dull, sprawling suburbs".

The authors claim some of Britain's tourism industry "just doesn't deliver".
