An 18 year old died after being stabbed in a fight in east London in 2010.
Five years after Isschan Nicholls (pictured) died from stab wounds a 25 year old man has been found guilty of manslaughter.
Police in Tower Hamlets were called to reports of a large fight in Bow in January 2010 where they found two teenagers who had been stabbed.
Both of them were taken to the Royal London Hospital but two days after the attack 18-year-old Isschan died.
A post-mortem examination revealed his death was the result of wounds to his abdomen and thigh.
The Metropolitan Police say Simeon Hunter was only arrested after repeated appeals from Isschan's family and a £20,000.
Detective Inspector John Venn said: "This was a challenging and complicated investigation; a large number of people were involved in the fight which took place when Isschan was fatally stabbed. Between 2010 and 2011 alone, 17 people - two women and 15 men - were arrested during the course of the enquiry."
"I hope today's verdict serves as a reminder that the Homicide and Major Crime Command will relentlessly pursue those involved in these crimes and bring them before the courts to face justice."
Simeon Hunter will be sentenced on Thursday 4th June 2015.
