After years of failed planning applications, the go ahead's finally been given for Battersea Power Station to be re-developed.

It's going to cost 5 and a half billion pounds to turn the landmark into apartments, shops and offices.

The Grade II listed building's been disused since 1983 and Councillor Nick Cuff says this is an exciting development.

The plans, will include an extension on the Northern Line, linking the site to the Kennington branch, along with another station at Wandsworth Road.
