Raiders Target Jewellers At Westfield

A gang armed with sledgehammers has targeted jewellers at Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd's Bush.

Valuables worth tens of thousands of pounds have been taken early this morning from branches of De Beers and Tiffany's.

Security guards and police were alerted by electronic alarms but the gang drove off in several cars.

It follows a number of similar raids on jewllers in the West End.
