Woman Is The Sixth Cyclist To Die On London's Roads This Year

A woman has become the sixth cyclist to die on London's roads since the start of this year.

The 32-year-old was hit by a lorry in Denmark Hill in South East London during yesterday morning's rush hour.

She was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died last night.

Police say a male lorry driver stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

All six fatal accidents to cyclists in London in 2015 have involved lorries.

Meanwhile, a unicyclist is also in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a collision with a bus in East London.

Up to a hundred passengers tried to help him when he became trapped underneath the vehicle in Walthamstow around 6pm last night. (Thursday).
