Thieves Steal Cabling From Fairlop

The RMT union is claiming the tube has turned into a 'criminal's playground' because of cuts to staffing numbers.

It's after thieves stole cabling from Fairlop station in east London, leaving part of the Central Line suspended until after half past 7 this morning.

But Transport for London deny cutbacks have left the network vulnerable and insist there has been no change to the frequency of track inspections.
