Tube passengers forced to walk on tracks

Hundreds of tube passengers have been forced to walk along the tube tracks on the Central Line after a water mains burst above ground.

Around 350 passengers had to exit the train by foot and walk to Startford Station just after 1400 on Wednesday afternoon.

Transport for London have told Heart they don't expect the line between Leytonstone and Bethnal Green to re-open tonight.

Thames Water say engineers are on site.
