Widow calls for change in road laws

The widow of a cyclist who died after a collision with a lorry on a cycle superhighway in east London has told London's Heart she wants the Transport Secretary to change the law.

The Mayor's announced a major review of how heavy goods vehicles are operated in London after meeting Debbie Dorling

Brian Dorling was knocked down by a lorry at the Bow roundabout in October.

Mrs Dorling says she wants Transport Secretary Justine Greening to make it compulsory for heavy goods vehicles to have sensors to detect cyclists.
