RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) which can be found here apply to ‘Spice Up Your Life’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 3/10/11 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Heart London.

Anyone who enters the competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the radio station.

1) Details of the Competition

To enter the Competition an entrant must: Call the studio line (the “Telephone Line”).
Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates.
The telephone line will open and close as directed by the presenter.
5 callers will be taken at random. The most enthusiastic caller as judged by the Heart Breakfast production team will be declared the winner.

If more than one prize is offered additional callers or “runners up” will also be selected by the above method.
The winner(s) will be notified they have won and what prize(s) they have won on air.

21st November

One pair of return flights with Monarch to Tenerife from London Gatwick Airport including airport taxes. Flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to pre-allocated seats and the carriage of hold/checked-in baggage)

Travel insurance, travel to and from UK airport, food and drink, personal expenditure and incidental costs other than those stated are not included.   It is the responsibility of the prize winner(s) to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.

4x tickets to the Royal Film Performance of Hugo on the evening of Monday 28th November 2011 in central London.

The competition is open to UK residents.  If the winner is under 18 years of age they must take a parent or guardian as their guest.

Normal film certificate restrictions apply.

The event is black tie.

Travel and any accommodation is the responsibility of the winner.

The first prize winner will be notified by phone on Wednesday 23^rd November to check their availability and if they cannot attend or be reached within 24 hours another name will be drawn. We will make all reasonable efforts to notify the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within this time we reserve the right to draw an alternative winner.

The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding.

The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into. Entertainment Film Distributors (EFD) cannot be held responsible if the event is cancelled or details changed due to unforeseen circumstances which are beyond their control. In this event the winner will receive tickets to another EFD premiere happening in 2011/12 which will be specified by EFD.

A family ticket (up to 5 people) to see the Sooty Christmas Show at the Garrick Theatre.

7th December

4 tickets to the X Factor final sound check taking place on Thursday 8 December at Wembley Arena starting at 12.30pm.

Guests must by 12+, and must be accompanied by at least one adult 18+.

TalkTalk and FremantleMedia cannot be held responsible for cancellation, delay, or refusal of entry for any reason, and no alternative will be offered.

 

Your place at the studio is issued subject to the following conditions:

1.     As consideration for your admittance to the Studio you hereby consent to being filmed, photographed and recorded for the purposes of The X Factor and you grant FremantleMedia Limited the right to use your voice and image in connection with the broadcast and exploitation of The X Factor and all associated programmes in all media throughout the world in perpetuity.

2.     Neither FremantleMedia Limited (or its associated companies), Simco Limited (or its associated companies) or TalkTalk (or its associated companies) (together the “Companies”) nor The Fountain Television Studios (the “Studio”) nor their employees or their associates shall be liable for the loss of or any damage to property brought on to the premises unless this is caused by the negligent act or omission or wilful default of the Companies or any of their employees.

3.     This ticket does not guarantee entry. Entry to the Studio is granted at the sole discretion of the Companies. The Companies and the Studio have the right to refuse admission to any person or to require the ticket holder to leave the premises in the event of failure to observe their conditions or for other unacceptable behaviour. The Companies have the right to cancel the programme and/or alter the times of commencement and/or completion of recording without notice to the ticket holder and without liability to the ticket holder in any respect.

4.     Persons under 12 years of age will not be admitted.

5.     This ticket is complementary and not for sale nor transferable.

6.     No smoking, food or drink is allowed in the Studio. All mobile telephones and pagers must be switched off. The taking of photographs and the making of any form of visual and/or sound recording by the ticket holder is strictly forbidden.

7.     The ticket holder must comply with all security and the safety requests made by the Studios and/or the Companies and to follow strictly any directions given.

8.  If you or a guest require special arrangements or assistance (e.g. Wheelchair access) at the premises please contact us in advance and we will be happy to assist as best we can. We do advise that, for health and safety reasons, a guest attending the recording in a wheelchair has an able-bodied helper to assist them in and out of the Studio.
