RULES
1.    The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at heart.co.uk apply to Sky Ride radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 25/08/10 to 03/09/10 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is Heart London.
2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must call the Telephone Line given out on air by the presenters.  Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates.  The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.  
4.    Listeners will be given clips to listen to and asked to identify the location of the family.  The first caller to be selected at random and give the correct answer will win.  If the caller answers incorrectly the station will go to the next randomly selected caller.  
5.    The winner will be determined by answering correctly on air.

•         1 x Mens Stratus 1.0 E (equipped with mudguards and a rack)
•         1 x Women’s Stratus 1.0 E (equipped with mudguards and a rack)
•         2 x Children’s Bikes (Model dependant on the age and size of the child)

Family Cycling Break In The Heart Of The New Forest
 
Despite its name, the New Forest is actually one of England’s oldest remaining forests and families can pack up their favourite bike and explore its hidden delights on its myriad of cycle tracks that lead straight to the heart of the forest! Families will spend 2 nights based in the picturesque town of Dibden, staying in their Farmhouse accommodation close to the forest where they can be sure to get the most of their 2 night weekend escape.  Not only does the New Forest boast a wide variety of cycle routes suitable to all, but visitors may also be lucky enough to spot one of the elusive wild ponies or deer that live within the forests depths.  With the New Forest being a popular family holiday location, there are many activities happening all year round, for all members of the family!

ANNEX 1

SKY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1.      This promotion is open to residents of UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required.  Employees (or family members of employees) of any British Sky Broadcasting Group company (“Sky”), companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may not enter the Promotion.

 

2.      To take part in the Competition you need to participate in the Skyride Competition on Heart Radio between Friday 27th August and Sunday 5th September 2010. British Sky Broadcasting Limited (“Sky”) does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay your entry into the Competition.  

 

3.      Only one entry per person and per household is allowed.  Entries must not be sent through agents or third parties.

 

4.      The prize includes:

5.      There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non transferable.

 

6.      The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

 

Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.   
 

The terms and conditions of any other third party supplier will also apply to the prize where applicable.  If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence.
 

The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
 

If the winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the prize for any reason which is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
 

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants.  No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be disqualified.
 

Details of the prize winners’ first name and county will be available for one month after the close of this promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address below and stating the name and date of the promotion.
 

The name, county and photograph of the winners may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes. The winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.  
 

With regards to data protection, in addition to the use specified above, the Promoter will use each winner’s, and each entrant’s, personal details for the purpose of administering this promotion.  
 

The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter or Sky staff which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive.  If the winning entry is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.   
 

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
 

This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
