Story Time with Heart

How can we get every child talking with a richer vocabulary? With help from a very special story…

'The Boy who lost his laugh' has been created as part of the MK Council Early Years Team's ECAT (Every Child A Talker) initiative to help extend the vocabulary of young children in Milton Keynes..

What's the story?

A magical interactive audio story centred in and around Milton Keynes and designed especially for parents and nurseries to share and interact with their children and it follows on from last year's highly successful story 'The Boy at Willen Lake' .

So, if you care for young children as a practitioner, nursery worker, childminder or parent find out how you can get a copy and keep having fun with your children!

Book a Heart Story-Time Visit with Matt

Nursery

Would you like our Heart Drivetime Presenter Matt Jarvis and the Heart Angels to come to read this great story at your child’s nursery, school or pre-school here in the Milton Keynes area?

The children will have loads of fun interacting with the story with props and we'll leave a copy of the story on CD for them to listen to and talk about time and time again.

Plus, each child will receive a copy of the story in a booklet to take home, so they can share the fun with their family! The first part of the booklet has the story and illustrations, while the second part simply has just pictures and is designed to encourage children to 'tell' the story themselves.

For the chance to have Matt and the Angels visit your child's setting, simply register on the form below and if your nursery or playgroup is selected as one of the ones we'll visit, we'll be in touch.
