Drugs Raids: Latest

Five men have been charged with drugs offences after a series of dawn raids across Milton Keynes on Tuesday 11 December 2012.

A total of 17 people were arrested as a result of the 15 warrants, which Thames Valley Police carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act. The operation on 11 December involved 120 Thames Valley Police officers.

Twenty other people were arrested in raids in Milton Keynes on Thursday 6 December, as part of the same operation.

Operation Rouse is a continuing investigation into the supply and use of drugs and related crime in the Milton Keynes area.

The five charged men were due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court on Wednesday 12 December, and are:

  • Saleh Sidah, aged 40, from Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, who has been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
  • Ismail Nasir, aged 39, from Burnet, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, who has been charged with one count of offering to supply Class A drugs.
  • Robert Hill, aged 29, of North Seventh Street, Milton Keynes, who has been charged with the supply of a class A drug and possession of a class B drug.
  • Mohammed Ali, aged 29, from Porthleven Place, Fishermead, who has been charged with the supply of a Class A drug and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
  • Levi Way, aged 28, from Chervil, Beanhill, Milton Keynes, who has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

A 28 year old man from Greenleys, Milton Keynes arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs was released on bail, and ordered to report back to Milton Keynes Police Station at the end of January 2013.

Arrests on Monday 10 December 2012

Three other men, arrested under Operation Rouse on Monday 10 December 2012, have also been charged with drugs offences.

  • Rodney Ramsay, aged 42, of Griffon Close, Eaglestone, was charged with one count of offering to supply a class A drug (crack cocaine) and one count of offering to supply a class C drug (Subutex)
  • Joshua Reid, aged 22, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of supplying a class A drug (crack cocaine) and one count of possession of a class B drug (cannabis)
  • Ahmed Ibrahim, aged 31, of no fixed address, was charged with one count of supplying a class A drug (heroin).

All three were due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court on Tuesday 11 December.

Arrests on Tuesday 6 December 2012

Ten other men arrested under Operation Rouse on Tuesday 6 December 2012 have also been charged with drugs offences.

  • Abdi Mohamed, aged 29, of Conniburrow Boulevard, Conniburrow, was charged with four counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
  • Ali Shah, aged 28, of Larch Road, London, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
  • Abdi Osman, aged 30, of North Tenth Street, Milton Keynes, was charged with one count of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and one count of possession of cannabis (class B).
  • Remi Akinyemi, aged 29, of Down Barns Boulevard, was charged with six counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
  • Luke Smith, aged 20, of Franklins Croft, Wolverton, was charged with four counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
  • Gavin Walker, aged 24, of Newhall Road, Henley Green, Coventry, was charged with one count of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
  • Shahazan Ali, aged 31, of Buckley Court, Stony Stratford, was charged with three counts of supplying a class A drug.
  • Ferdinand Hewitt, aged 35, of Edmund Court, Shenley Church End, was charged with five counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possession of a class B drug.
  • Foad Hirsi, aged 23, of North Tenth Street, Milton Keynes, was charged with one count of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possession of a class B drug.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Milton Keynes was charged with five counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
