How well did we cope?

"How well do we cope in the snow?"

That’s what Buckinghamshire County Council want to know.

They’ve set up a committee to look at how their highways winter maintenance team coped with the worst snow the county has had in 30 years.

The review will start in early April, and will look at what can be learnt from other local authorities and how the Council can improve. They’ll look at things like whether or not their current level of service is providing value for money.

Organisations including district, parish and town councils will be at the meeting, as well as representatives from the emergency services and NHS Buckinghamshire.
