Man Found Guilty of Murdering Father

A law student has been found guilty of killing his father.

Seventy year old Samuel Alexander, a retired university lecturer, was reported missing by neighbours in February this year. They realised they hadn't seen him at his Drayton Parslow home for a while.

Twenty two year old Mark Alexander from Fleet Street in London was studying at Kings College in London at the time of his arrest. Today he was found guilty of his father's murder.

Residents in Prospect Close in Drayton Parslow spoke at the time of thei shock at the events. They said Egyptian born Mr Alexander was a private man who kept himself to himself. He was also known at Sami Yacoub El-Kayoubi had taught English at de Montfort University in Buckinghamshire.
