Police are working with the Foreign Office to try and find a man who's gone missing while on a cruise in the Red Sea.

John Halford, 63, from Greenleys in Milton Keynes, had left Luton Airport on Thursday 31 March 2011 for the Thomson Cruise.  The cruise finished in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt on Thursday 7 April, when he was found to not be on board.

It's thought he went missing sometime between 11.45pm on Wednesday 6 April and 7.30am on Thursday 7 April.

He is white, 5ft 6ins, medium build is clean shaven and has short grey hair.

Thames Valley Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

People who were on the cruise with John, or know where he might be, are asked to contact Thames Valley Police via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
