Missing woman

Police in Milton Keynes are trying to work out what happened to a woman who hasn't been seen since before Christmas.

Helen Amoah, who's 53, was last seen on 22 December 2009 in Laker Court, Oldbrook.

She was reported missing on 29 December 2009 and the picture, which has been released by Thames Valley Police, is believed to be her.

Ms Amoah's last known address, which is in Brearley Avenue in Oldbrook, has been checked and searched by police. It was empty and hasn't been lived in for at least a year. Police have been carrying out extensive local and national enquiries, but there hasn't been any sighting or knowledge of her whereabouts.

Detective Inspector Simon Roberts said: "We do not believe anything untoward has happened to Helen, however her family has not seen her since December and are growing increasingly concerned for her."

"If you recognise the woman pictured or have any information about where Helen is please contact us."

If you've got any information you can contact Thames Valley Police on 0845 8 505 505 and quote URN 1272 29/12/09. Or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
