Motorcyclist dies in accident

A 26-year-old motorcyclist died following a single-vehicle collision in Milton Keynes yesterday afternoon (Sunday March 6th).

The collision happened on the V6 Grafton Street at the junction with Fingle Drive in Stonebridge at about 4.30pm.

The motorcyclist, who was riding a blue Yamaha RI motorbike, was heading towards Wolverton when he came off his bike. He was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with serious injuries but died a short time later.

The Roads Policing Unit at Milton Keynes is investigating the cause of the collision and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
