NHS MK promises to listen

NHS Milton Keynes is promising to listen to patients stories, advice and concerns.

Three sessions are being held at its headquarters on Sherwood Drive in Bletchley.

It's a chance for people to have their say on whatever is important to them, and staff are promising to listen more than they talk.

Each session will include large and small group discussions, and the feedback from them will be used to help improve health services in MK.

Leigh Kendall from NHS Milton Keynes told Heart:

"NHS Milton Keynes often goes out to talk to various groups about the local NHS services and we've had some feedback that, while they like us going to their groups, we come to talk to them about what we want to talk to them about. So in response to that we've organised these events.

"We really do encourage people to come along and have their say and let us know about their experiences. In that way we can know what we're doing well and what we're perhaps not doing quite so well, and we can capture that experience and look to make improvements for the future."

The sessions are being held at NHS MK, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley on:

Friday 12th March. 10am-11.30am
Friday 12th March. 2.30pm-4pm
Tuesday 16th March. 6pm-7.30pm

If you can't get to one of the sessions though, you can contact NHS MK via their website, Facebook and Twitter or by e mailing communications@miltonkeynes.nhs.uk
