Police Issue CCTV After Bletchley Riots
Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to identify 10 people it would like to speak to in connection with a serious disorder incident in Bletchley.
CCTV images have been released as part of the investigation into the disorder on Tuesday 9 August.
Nine people have already been arrested in connection with the disorders in Bletchley and Milton Keynes, which involved incidences of shoplifting, criminal damage and public order offences. Of the nine, eight have been charged and one remains on bail.
Det Sgt Susan Herbert said: “It is important that we identify and speak to the people pictured in the CCTV images in connection with our ongoing investigation. We would also like to speak to a man who was ordering food at the Golden Palace restaurant in Queensway on the night of the disorder, who was there when those involved in the disorder came into the premises. I would urge him to come forward as soon as possible as he may hold important information in relation to the inquiry.”
If you recognise any of the people in the CCTV images, please contact Det Sgt Herbert via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, quoting URN 383 of 28 September. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, please call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
