Police are investigating after a man tried to rob a pregnant woman as she sat in her car in Milton Keynes.

The 20 year old woman had pulled over in a bus stop on the V8 Marlborough Street close to the Redbridge Roundabout and Stantonbury and Great Linford at 10.35pm on Sunday 1 June 2014.

She had opened her window to get some air as she was feeling dizzy.

Police say a man grabbed her by the hair and demanded her car keys. The victim managed to get the car in gear and drove off.

The offender - described as black and wearing a beige top - crossed the road and walked off in the direction of Linford Wood.

The victim was scratched on the head but did not have to go to hospital.
