Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Milton Keynes on Sunday night (May 8th).

At about 8.30pm, a 15-year-old boy was walking along the V7 Saxon Street, adjacent to Eaglestone. A man approached him from behind and said to him ‘show me what you’ve got’. The victim took his phone and headphones out of his pocket and the offender tried to snatch it out of his hand. The victim said no and pulled his hand away, at which point the offender threatened to stab the victim if he didn’t hand it over, putting his hand behind his back as if to produce a weapon.

The victim handed over the phone, a black LG touch-screen and headphones, and the offender ran off in the direction of Fishermead. The victim was not injured in incident, but was left shaken.

The offender is black, aged between 18 and 20-years-old, 6ft, slim, with short black hair. He was wearing a distinctive purple jacket with grey cuffs and hood, which was up at the time, and dark blue jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offender, should contact Det Con Reg Jones, from Milton Keynes police station, via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
