Unclaimed lottery prize in MK

If you play the lottery in Milton Keynes, but haven't checked your numbers for a while, you could have won almost 75 thousand pounds.

A winning ticket - which matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday 6th March - was bought in the Milton Keynes area, but so far no one has come forward to claim the prize of £74,627.

The winning Lotto numbers for that date are:

6   13   27   28   34   42 and the bonus ball was 43.

If you've got a ticket with those numbers on you've got until 5.30pm on Thursday 2nd September 2010 to make the claim, before the money and the interest which has been earned on it is given to the National Lottery Good Causes scheme.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

If you think you've got the winning ticket, call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
