Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Milton Keynes last night (May 9th).

At about 10.50pm, a 22-year-old woman was walking from the bus stop by the local shops on Tower Drive in Neath Hill. She walked past a group of youths, who asked her for a cigarette. She stated she didn’t have any and carried on walking, but the youths followed her and stopped her again. They then produced what is thought to be a knife and threatened the woman. A passing member of the public then shouted at the offenders and they ran off.

Nothing was stolen in the robbery and the girl was not injured.
