Lady Gaga to buy upmarket property

Gaga is reportedly buying a house in Martha's Vineyard

Lady Gaga has reportedly set her sight on buying a property in Martha's Vineyard, an upmarket island in the US just off the Massachussets coast.

Martha's Vineyard, off Cape Cod, is one of the most exclusive places in the States, with housing prices being 96% more expensive than the national average. The cost of living is said to be up to 60% higher than anywhere else in the USA.

Gaga is currently renting a $5million property in the Los Angeles area of Bel Air, popular with celebrities and the rich.

The singer, who has been on the road on her "Monster Ball Tour" for almost two years, is said to be looking for a hideaway where she can get some peace and quiet.
