The cast is older, David Lynch is less edgy and Laura Palmer is still dead, but we need Twin Peaks now more than ever.
Top Gun sequel still ‘long way away’
Fans of the classic action film 'Top Gun' may have to wait a while for a sequel, Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed.
The original movie starring Tom Cruise as daredevil pilot ‘Maverick’ was produced by Jerry in 1986 and was a huge success worldwide.
Jerry has admitted that even though producers and writers have been plotting a second film since the first one hit the big screen over 24 years ago, nothing has yet been forthcoming.
"You know, it's a long ways away," Jerry said. "We've been talking about it since the movie came out and it was a big hit.”
He revealed Hollywood star Tom had attempted to get a sequel to the film rolling a long time ago, but not even the good-looking 48-year-old managed to get it off the ground.
Jerry said that although Tom had struggled to make it happen the pair haven’t given up all hope yet.
"Tom Cruise took a run at it many years ago and we just couldn't crack it. So we'll see what happens now," Jerry said.
Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay has confessed she has had an eating disorder since she was 14-years-old.
Jake Gyllenhaal is re-teaming with Life director Daniel Espinosa in a drama about an American who joins the war in Syria.
Irreverent comedian Amy Schumer has announced she will no longer star in a live-action Barbie film scheduled for next year.
